Africa University
Africa University, located just outside of Mutare, Zimbabwe, is the first fully accredited United Methodist-related institution on the African continent established by the 1988 General Conference. The university opened for classes in 1992 with 40 students and currently has an enrollment of about 1,200 students repsenting 22 countries: Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
From the beginning, Africa University's mission has been to provide quality education winth the Pan-African context. Students of the university acquire general and professional knowledge and skills. They are encouraged to grow in spiritual maturity and to develop sound moral values, ethnics and leadership qualities.

How can I support the Africa University Scholarship Fund?
One year tutition for each student is $5,400. You may send funds designated to a student from any of the countries to INUMC, 301 N Pennsylvania Parkway #300, Indianapolis, IN 46280 -- mark it Africa University Scholarship - and include the country (if you wish).
