Fletcher Place Culinary Collage 2018 Invitation

The 9th Annual Culinary Collage is taking place Sunday, May 20, 2018, at the University of Indianapolis Schwitzer Student Center. The event is Fletcher Place Community Center's annual fundraiser providing much needed support in their efforts to "take a bite out of poverty" in their community. Come out for the tastings from local restaurants, entertainment, grab bag praffle, and live/silent auction. Admission is easy! Simply bring a $10 Kroger gift card (to be used for their food pantry) or pay $15 at the door. Children under 12 are free, but must be accompanised by an adult and bring a non-perishable food item to help stock the pantry.

Lisa Morris shared, "At Rosedale Hills United Methodist Church, I spoke to their Sunday School group about Metro Ministries, our partnerships, and upcoming events.  When I asked this group if they had ever been to Fletcher Place -- every one in the room raised their hands.  I spoke about the upcoming fundraising event "Fletcher Place Culinary Collage" and invited them all to the event.  One question I received, "Tell me more about the event?"  Following my presentation, one man came up to me and said, "Thank you for sharing about the Culinary Collage, because I thought maybe I would go and make my sausage and gravy like I do at Fletcher Place." Well you may not have sausage and gravy, but there will be food, family fun and an opportunity to support a great cause."
