Who We Are
Tina McAninch
Executive Director

Tina became the Executive Director in December of 2018, upon the retirement of Lisa Morris. Tina is passionate about serving individuals and communities in need and brings her knowledge of resources, relationship-building, facilitation and needs assessment skills to continue the important work of Metro Ministries.

Tina brings over 5 years of social services experience as well as over 20 years of team, project and program management expertise. She most recently served as the Program Director for No Place to Call Home, the first county-wide homelessness initiative in Johnson County. She led the development and implementation of the program that, in the two years since the program’s launch, has served over 320 adults and children experiencing housing instability in Johnson County.

Her passion for ministry is summed up in her statement “I strive to carry these words of John Wesley to work with me every day: 'Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.'"

Tina and her husband Paul are members of Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin. In her spare time, Tina enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking and hanging out with their two dogs. Her favorite travel destination is anywhere that she gets her passport stamped.
